UX researcher and designer. Research-first, prototype-driven, process-documented.
Redesigned a yoga studio booking experience with 16 annotated UX decisions to reduce friction and surface what users actually need.
Designed a native iOS app that records your tennis strokes, compares them to a pro's form frame-by-frame, and gives feedback most players can't afford.
Seven years as Architectural Job Captain designing healthcare facilities at Children's Hospital Los Angeles — casework, elevations, MRI suites, and construction coordination.
I'm an experienced, empathetic designer based in Los Angeles with 7 years of experience in healthcare architecture. My approach starts with the user — research first, pixels second. Similar to UX, the work I've done in architecture is driven by understanding user feedback, intuitive layouts, scope, and budget.
Before transitioning to digital UX, I spent seven years as an Architectural Job Captain at Taylor Design (2020–2025) and Huitt-Zollars (2018–2020), designing healthcare facilities where patient flow, infection control, and regulatory compliance all had to work in a single floor plan. I led design reviews from ideation to implementation, managed OSHPD Construction Administration, and coordinated engineers' work across change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
I hold an M.Arch from SCI-Arc (where I learned Revit, Rhino, V-Ray, Grasshopper, CATIA, Maya, and physical model-making), completed UCLA Extension's UX Design program, and hold Autodesk Revit Core and Intermediate Certifications (January 2025). I'm a former Division I Women's Tennis player at UC Riverside — which explains the rigor.
M.Arch, SCI-Arc (2014–2017) · UX Design, UCLA Extension (2022) · BA Political Science (International Affairs) + Asian Literature & Culture (Japanese), UC Riverside (2006–2010) — Academic Excellence Award, College of Humanities & Social Sciences
Open to UX design opportunities in Los Angeles and remote. I'd love to hear what you're building.
